“Working with Christine felt like talking to a supportive and knowledgeable friend.”
Working with Christine was an absolute pleasure.
After years of trying to moderate, taking breaks followed by starting drinking again with no new-found moderation, I started to seriously question my relationship with alcohol.
Initially, all I could find online was AA, and well that was not for me. I wanted to find a way to examine my drinking habits, and explore ways to improve on that in the context of 'grey area drinking'.
From my discovery call, and throughout the 3 months I worked with her (I chose the 'Walk Your Sober Path' package), I have found Christine to be warm, friendly, open minded and VERY supportive.
We started the first few sessions with conversations and 'homework' exercises around my relationship to alcohol, and worked through how to handle triggers and urges. The sessions later included more general life coaching which were a great way to reflect on broader themes in my life, and helped me support on my sobriety journey.
I tremendously enjoyed working with Christine, it felt like talking to a supportive and knowledgeable friend. I am now off on my sobriety journey - coaching, together with the resources I got introduced to during our sessions has led me to want to continue my alcohol free journey. Thanks again Christine!

“Thank you for allowing me to gain back precious time to commit to more valuable things than a hangover! ”
I approached Christine for some sobriety coaching as I was unhappy with my drinking habits; particularly in relation to events and celebrations. I didn’t have the goal to become completely sober, I just wanted to explore curbing those unnecessary blow outs that were impacting on my personal goals.
Christine put me at ease throughout each session and really listened and understood as we worked through my existing relationship with alcohol and working on how I would like this to look in the future.
She introduced me to the concept of mindful drinking and had so many creative ideas to share for handy mindful exercises to do before, during and after drinking events. I feel I have a really great toolkit now to carry me through some long term changes.
Thank you for allowing me to gain back precious time to commit to other more valuable things than a hangover!

"I found our sessions extremely helpful and Christine is a very knowledgeable coach.”
I heard Christine was training to be a sobriety coach and contacted her.
I found during the sessions, talking out loud to an independent person about my concerns actually made me listen too. She listened very carefully and let me just open up in complete confidence.
Hearing myself out loud help me answer some of the problems myself, but Christine asked questions to make me think about the ‘why’ I drink. The tools given to me to help stop and make me think why I don’t always stop at one drink, or even have a drink at all, were very useful.
Christine’s experience and knowledge concerning the problems associated with healthcare professionals and drinking as a way to relax, make her fully able to understand the pressure and consequences that can happen in our line of work. I found our sessions extremely helpful and Christine is a very knowledgeable coach.

“The better understanding of myself and my drinking has left me with strategies I would never have come up with alone.”
I wasn’t sure I wanted to give up alcohol, I suspected I had been ignoring little alarm bells about my drinking for a while,
I wasn’t sure the extra glass or odd overindulgence was a problem, and I wasn’t sure about coaching. I just couldn’t work out how I felt or what I should do.
I finally decided I wasn’t getting anywhere alone. The ‘Find Your Sober Path’ package allowed me to explore the possibilities of living a low or no alcohol life in a drinker’s world without judgement or pressure.
Christine encouraged me to be completely honest and to explore the real reasons I had started to question my relationship with alcohol - not just the ‘my hangovers are bad’ reason.
The better understanding of myself and my drinking these sessions gave me, left me with confidence and strategies I would never have come up with alone. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christine to anyone having doubts about their relationship with alcohol, I wish I had done it sooner!
